Chris D. Lampson
LIMA - May 12, 2022 at age 62. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Karen (Skillo) Lampson; children, Bryan, Brandon (Odil), Bryce Lampson (Julie Evert); father, Edmon (Louise) Lampson, mother, Judith Lampson; sisters, Kathy (Dale) Hillebert, Lori (Brian) Banks; brothers, Scott (Laurel), Tim (Betsy) Lampson; several nieces and nephews.
Chris is most known for his love of the farm and food. He earned his Masters of Arts in Culinary Education from Johnson & Wales in RI. His love of young people and his dream to teach at the collegiate level came to fruition in 2019 where he served as the Culinary Arts Director and Lead Culinary Arts Instructor at Shepherds College in WI.
God called him home after 2 years of being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Chris navigated
his illness with grace, courage, and humor.
Family will receive guests Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 9 – 10 AM followed by a celebration of his life at 10 AM at Elim Life Church 1679 Dalton Road, Lima. The service will be live streamed at lima.elimlife.church. A light reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chef Lampson Scholarship Fund c/o Shepherds College 1805 15th Ave. Union Grove WI 53182 or on line at
