Obituary for Daniel Patrick McFadden

Daniel Patrick McFadden passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2022 at age 46. Predeceased by his Father, Don, his brother Donnie, his stepchildren Chelsey & Brandon. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Amy; their grandson Cameron, Mother Sue Ann, Father-in-law Ron (Nancy) Browne, Mother-in-law Connie (Dan) Watkins, sister in-law Jamiee, nephews Nicchia and Will. Brother in-laws Scott (Amber) Browne, Steve (Amber) Browne, Aaron (Julie) Browne. Sister in-law Rachel (Frank) Browne, and many loving family and friends.

Dan was my loving husband. The kind of love that you find truly once in a lifetime and we found it when we met in 2007. I was his HB (hunny bunny). We were always together. It was rare to ever not see one tagging along without the other.

The most important person in his life was his buddy Cameron. He was his Papa. They loved to go skiing together. They loved to ride their 4-Wheelers up to our camp. Bonfires and smores, telling stories by the fire just the three of us.

His friends had many nicknames for him, Danno or Whammo, Dancing Dan. I got to hear all the stories over and over of all the festivals he used to go to. How in his senior year so many of his Football buddies used to skip school and their coach would go knocking on McFadden's door because that's where the parties were. He loved telling me stories about his Football and Wrestling days and how all the girls followed him around school and that he was nominated Best Bod. He made sure to tell me that often.

We went on the best vacations together just the two of us and would also have secondary vacations with our family going to North Carolina. I was looking through all the pictures on my phone and most were our vacation pictures. I wish I took more pictures.

We bought a camper last year because we were planning on retiring in a few years and taking it down south for a few months out of the year. We had so many plans and every week we sat down and discussed them. Save money, retire, not be so stressed and just enjoy each other while smiling somewhere on a beach listening to the waves crash.

He was the protector of the family. The glue that all of us needed. He was always so calm and level headed. I would just look at his big brown eyes and know that he would always protect me, Cameron and his family. Life isn't fair. I wish for one just more dance with you.

A Celebration of Life may be done at a later date.
