Avon - Passed away on January 31, 2022 at age 41 at her home in Avon, NY surrounded by her loved ones after a 12 year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Jim Miller; step-children, Autumn and Colby; mother, Connie (Tom) West; sister, Patricia (Tom) Benge; nephew, Austen; niece, Destiny and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Deb was predeceased by her father, Bob Morris; maternal grandparents, Harold and Mildred Shellman.
She was kind-hearted and would help anyone who needed it. A heart of gold. She would light the room up when she entered. Even through all her pain, her smile shinned through. You never knew her pain, she never wanted to be defined by the cancer.
She worked at Micropen in Honeoye Falls for 20 years. Debra was an animal lover. She also loved to crochet and listen to her music, and enjoyed her unicorns and fairies.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, February 4, 2022 from 2 - 4, 7 - 9 PM at the Stephenson - Dougherty Funeral Home 350 Genesee Street, Avon where her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pluta Cancer Center 125 Red Creek Drive, Suite 205B Rochester, NY 14623 in her memory.
