Obituary for Margo J. Harper
Avon-Conesus Lake: Passed unexpectedly October 30, 2021, Predeceased by her loving husband John, her parents Roy and Gladys Hayden. Survived by her two sons and daughter-in-laws, Joel & Julie Harper of Honeoye Falls, J. Randall ”Randy” and Christine Harper of Avon, 3 Granddaughters: Elizabeth, Chloe and Hailey. Brother Geoffery (Karen) Hayden of Marion, 2 brothers and sister-in-laws, Ralph (Helen) Harper of Pittsford, Jim (Constance) Harper of Rush, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margo was a longtime Rotarian in Avon as well as a Paul Harris Fellow. She worked as a hairdresser and volunteered in Avon Ambulance. She was an avid Michigan State Spartan fan, card player and bingo enthusiast.
Friends may call Thursday, November 11 2021 from 4-7PM at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc. 350 Genessee St. Avon where services will be held Friday at 11AM. Interment, Mendon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Rotary Foundation – C/O Avon Rotary Club PO Box 1 Avon, NY 14414.
