Obituary for Lawrence E. Stevens

age 65, died on December 30, 2020, from a home fire. He is survived by his lov-ing wife, Judy Stevens; his children, L.P., Sissy and Meggie; four grandchildren, his mother, Dorothy Stevens, sisters, Elaine Neth, Donna Robert-son, Laura Critcher and Christine Cook, nieces, nephews, and many friends who felt like family and called him “Pops.” Also surviving are his wife’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who loved him very much. Larry was predeceased by his father, Lawrence D. Stevens, a niece and a nephew. He was a man of music, Air Force veteran, Mason, former member of the Avon Fire Department, a humorist, family-man and a sentimental soul who believed in and searched for “common ground.” His service will be private. A Celebration of his Life will be held this summer. A special thank goes to the wonderful first responders. Memorials may be made to the East Avon Fire Department, 1615 W.
