Obituary for Richard J. "Dick" Davin
AVON - October 4, 2020 at age 73. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Karon (DuBoise) Davin; children Jennifer (Bill) McKay, Brian (Jennifer) Davin, Andrew (Christyl) Davin; brother Thomas (Kathleen) Davin; treasured grandchildren, Kierstyn, Colton, Kyle, Damon Davin; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clem and Kathrine Davin; sisters, Jean, Eileen; brother, Jerry.
Dick was a Wounded Vietnam Army Combat Veteran and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was retired from the Livingston Co. Department of Environmental Health. His first love was for farming and he grew the best corn in Livingston Co.
Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 2 – 4, 7 – 9 pm at the Stephenson – Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 350 Genesee Street, Avon. His Funeral Service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon, with military honors.
