ROCHESTER - AVON - He is survived by his children, Phyllis (Don) Vetter of MD, David Orman (Nancy Sullivan) of MD, Mark Orman of Staten Island, NY, Thomas (Xuan) Orman of CA; step-children, Robert (Helen) Hawkes, James (Jennifer) Hawkes, Dawn (Gene) Chmiel; sister, Barbara Nostrant; brothers, James (Joan) Orman, Albert Orman; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Mason Orman; wife, JoAnn Hawkes.
Frank loved his country, was a Corporal in the US Army, and spent much of his career in the Defense contracting industry. He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved mechanical engineering, working on cars, and woodworking.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a viewing at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, 350 Genesee St., Avon, NY, on Wednesday, October 7th, from 10am to 11am, immediately followed by a brief service at 11am and interment at Avon Cemetery. (Masks and social distancing required.) In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
