Louise Gleeson was a very generous person. I went to school at Elim with the her husband and she invited me severally to eat in their home and that made me felt more at home. May she rest in peace. Rev James Badu, Ghana West Africa. Email

Shocked and saddened to hear of Louise's passing. I worked for Jim and Louise at Gleeson's Variety Store on 17th street in Ocean City. I was only 15 at the time but I can still remember how hard Louise worked in that store. She was there from open to close many days a week.
When I was hired, Louise trained me. She was so patient with me. I was a slow learner but she gave me the space I needed to catch on to how to make the milkshakes, cook the burgers, ice cream sodas, etc...
I remember one time she had to leave the store for a while because she had to go to the dentist. As I mentioned she worked tirelessly. She came back from the dentist feeling a bit embarrassed. I asked her what was wrong and she said, "I fell asleep in the dentist chair."
She was great to work for. Her energy was always positive and I have very fond memories of that period. I'm sure she will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace Louise.

Thank you so much Greg for sharing such a sweet memory of my Mom! I remember you and your sister, Jane (?) . Some of my best memories are the years that I worked there with my mom. Hope you and your family are doing well!

I remember when both Louise and Jim came to work at RH. Two of the nicest people i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will miss her so much. She always had a smile and a kind word for you. May she be at peace with her savior. God bless you all. Love and prayers for you all.
