William T. McManus, Sr.
Honeoye Falls – Lima January 25, 2020 at age 79. He is survived by his close companion, Rae Donlon; children, Nancy McManus of TX, William (Jackie) McManus, Jr. of FL ; grandchildren, Emma and Ryan McManus; several nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his wife Catherine McManus.
Bill was born on September 1, 1940 the son of James and Helen McManus. He was a graduate of McQuaid High School. He worked for and was retired from RP Myers where he worked for 40 years. Bill was a Marine Veteran and served from 1960 to 1964. He was a member of the Francis M. Dalton American Legion Post #282 in West Bloomfield.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4 -7 pm at the O’Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home 2041 Lake Ave., Lima. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12:30 pm his Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose Church, Lima. Interment with military honors to follow at Ascension Gardens Cemetery, Rush. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Lima Volunteer Ambulance, PO box 335 Lima, NY 14485 or Camp Good Days and Special Times, PO Box 665 Mendon, NY 14506.
