AVON Died on Saturday, December 21, 2019 after a long struggle with COPD. She is survived by her children Catherine, Michael (Leslie Harrington), and Matthew; her grandchildren Chris, Zack, Mercedez, and Camdyn Loomis, and Ryan and Cory Brock; her great-grandchildren Celeanah Loomis, and Kendrick, Serenity, and Annalise Scott; her brother Chris (Lesia) Harness; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pat was a hard worker, and held jobs at the Cedar Shakes Restaurant, Super Duper, and Marine Midland Bank, but her favorite job was as the Avon Town Court clerk. Her excellent and accurate work as clerk, as well as her chocolate chip cookies, made the court a favorite among police and attorneys. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother, and an avid and expert knitter and baker. She loved to watch British mysteries and encouraged others to get to know Inspector Morse, Jane Tennison, Chief Superintendent Foyle, and other favorite English detectives. Pat also tried never to miss an occasion when she might make or send a card. We will miss her terribly, and we are grateful to the nurses and aides, especially Chris, Sharon, Rhonda and Elisa, who helped Pat and her family during her long illness.
