We are all so sorry for your family's loss. We have so many great memories of Pete. We hope that all your great memories will get you through this time of grief. God Bless
My sincere condolence to the whole Stakos family, on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will surely be missed in our community. Through all of the ups and downs in life, the Lima Diner was always been there with that cup of coffee, just waiting for you to arrive, or that great fish fry on Friday nights, when one didn't mind waiting in line to get through the door "and" into the restaurant, for your turn to be seated. The smiles, laughter and chatter, that one would be having with their friends, relatives, neighbors or just someone they had never met before. The memories of by gone days, when this, that or other things had taken place. The all night weekends, Pete opening even in the middle of the night, when our fire department had to answer a call, the "Dorn" sisters who always had a smile on their faces and kept us up to date on the latest of whatever. Peter, his family and hard work, made all this and much more for our community to enjoy in. I for one, say "Thank You Peter", for all the joy I've had in my life that entailed the Lima Diner.
